Lavender Garden Animal Services – Training Terms & Conditions (2025-2026)

By making payment for any service with Lavender Garden Animal Services (“the Trainer”), you (“the Client”) agree to these Terms & Conditions.

These Terms exist to ensure clarity, fairness, and a safe, supportive training experience for you and your dog. If anything feels unclear, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving the Terms.

1. GENERAL INFORMATION

Lavender Garden Animal Services is fully insured for training and behaviour services.

Training is delivered using ethical, science-led, reward-based methods focused on emotional wellbeing and Nervous-System Aware Dog Parenting™.

2. PAYMENT TERMS

All services must be paid in full before training begins or via an agreed payment plan.

Payment plans must be completed before the final session of any package.

Payment signifies acceptance of these Terms.

If digital materials (videos, PDFs, online modules) have been delivered, a £25 admin fee will be deducted from any eligible refund where refunds apply.

No refunds are offered once an in-person service has started, unless required by UK consumer law.

3. PUPPY CONFIDENCE INTENSIVE (3-HOUR WORKSHOP)

Client Cancellations

More than 14 days’ notice: Full refund (minus transaction fees).

7–14 days’ notice: 50% refund or free transfer to the next available date.

Less than 7 days or after workshop start: No refund or transfer.

Missed Attendance

A missed workshop is treated as a cancellation; no refunds or credits apply.

Trainer Rescheduling

If the Trainer must postpone due to emergency, illness, or venue issues, a rescheduled date will be offered. If the client cannot attend, a full refund will be provided.

4. DOG PARENT-ONLY WORKSHOPS (Up to 15–20 attendees)

These include any educational sessions delivered without dogs present.

Cancellations

More than 7 days’ notice: Full refund (minus transaction fees).

7 days or less: Tickets are non-refundable but may be transferred to another workshop date if availability allows.

Multi-Workshop Packages

Packages must be used within 6 months of purchase.

Missed workshops are forfeited.

5. IN-PERSON PUPPY WORKSHOPS (Non-Intensive formats, if offered)

If additional puppy workshops:

  • More than 14 days’ notice: Full refund (minus fees).

  • 7–14 days: 50% refund or transfer.

  • Less than 7 days: No refund.

  • Missed sessions are not refundable or transferable.

6. PRIVATE 1:1 TRAINING & NERVOUS DOG / REACTIVITY PROGRAMS

Includes:

  • Private Coaching Packages

  • Reactivity & Emotional Regulation Programs

  • Separation Anxiety Support

  • Behaviour Coaching Packages

Rescheduling & Cancellation

First reschedule free with more than 48hrs notice.

48 hours’ notice: Rescheduled only if another client fills the slot. Otherwise the session is forfeited.

Less than 48 hours: Session is forfeited and non-refundable.

General Terms

Packages are non-refundable and non-transferable once started.

Packages expire 6 months from purchase unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Missed sessions are charged and cannot be rescheduled.

Sessions run bi-weekly unless alternative scheduling is agreed.

7. ONLINE COURSES & DIGITAL PRODUCTS

Includes:

The Dog Parent Path™ courses, Recall Online, Puppy Preschool Online, Quick Calm Down Kit, video series, digital downloads, breed-needs guides, and any future digital products.

Access & Refunds

Access is delivered either immediately or within 48 hours.

All digital sales are final once access has been delivered, in line with UK digital-content regulations.

Refunds are not available for online courses, video series, or downloads.

If you experience technical issues, notify us within 7 days of purchase.

Intellectual Property

All online course content remains the intellectual property of Lavender Garden Animal Services.

You must not share, copy, or distribute materials.

8. BEHAVIOUR, SAFETY & SUITABILITY

You must inform the Trainer of:

  • any changes in your dog’s health

  • medication

  • behaviour concerns including aggression

  • incidents occurring between sessions

The Trainer reserves the right to stop a session or discontinue services if safety concerns arise. No refund will be issued if sessions are terminated due to undisclosed behavioural issues or misuse of aversive methods.

9. CHILDREN AT SESSIONS

Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Parents/guardians are responsible for their child’s safety at all times.

For safety reasons, children may not participate in certain exercises.

10. EQUIPMENT & TRAINING METHODS

We only use ethical equipment and do not condone the use of: 

  • choke chains

  • slip leads used as corrections

  • prong collars

  • electronic collars or spray collars

  • physical punishment

Clients agree not to use such equipment during or between sessions when following the program. The emotional damage these items can cause will directly conflict with the work we are trying to do (build calm and connection). 

11. PHOTOS, TESTIMONIALS & PRIVACY

Photos/videos may be taken during sessions and used for marketing unless you opt out in writing.

Reviews, messages and feedback may be used in marketing with first names only.

Your data is handled according to our Privacy Policy (available on our website).

12. WEATHER & OUTDOOR SESSIONS

If weather conditions affect safety, the Trainer will decide whether to continue or reschedule.

This includes extreme heat, thunderstorms, ice, or dangerous ground conditions. Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear for any outdoor sessions, you will know if the sessions are outdoors upon booking.

13. TRAINER AVAILABILITY

We aim to accommodate preferred times but cannot guarantee specific days or slots.

Public holidays and annual leave dates will be communicated in advance.

14. LIABILITY & DISCLAIMER

Training is carried out at your own risk.

By booking with Lavender Garden Animal Services, you agree to:

  • take responsibility for yourself, your dog, and anyone attending with you

  • indemnify us against injury, loss, or damage arising during training

We are not liable for:

  • incidents caused by failure to follow training advice

  • veterinary bills

  • damage caused by dogs outside the training session

  • regression or behaviour changes when guidance is not followed

15. AMENDMENTS & LEGAL TERMS

Terms may be updated periodically. Continued participation implies acceptance.

These Terms are governed by UK law.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
